Train for the Exam
Every year, the Ocean Lifeguard Candidate exam is very competitive. Over 300 swimmers attend the 1000 meter ocean swim tryout each year. The first 100 to 120 finishers are taken to interviews, ensuring that the top swimmers are chosen. With this in mind, extra training in the pool and ocean may be in order to make sure you are in top shape for the exam. Please click here for a list of pools and masters swim teams to train with.
